Club News Indoor Bowls Wednesday nights from 7pm. Starting 8th July. Bowlsworld Champs! Fitzroy Victoria emerged victorious over Malvern in Division 2 of the inaugural Bowlsworld Winter Pennant competition. That brings the total of flags for the club in 2008/09 to 4! Go Hawks!! Perhaps inspired by Hawthorn's success in the footy, Hawks fans Ray Kringle and Justin Redshaw are now the Pairs Champions for 2008/09. After streaking away to a handy lead, the pair (who were considered to be the underdogs against 'Schachey' and 'Sheafy') dropped a few big numbers but held on to win by two.
